The Almanac-8 ranks the top eight teams in the Southwestern Indiana area. The poll is released twice a month during the soccer season. Poll does not include Friday Hoosier Cup games.

| 4-0
| Memorial becomes the first local team to pick up 500th soccer win--way ahead of all other teams. Tigers are yet to be scored on.

| Castle
| 2-1
| The Knights showed well against top state teams at the Hatchet Invitational, including a tough loss to Lake Central.

| Washington
| 4-1
| Washington also lost to Lake Central on their home turf but rebound nicely.

| Harrison
| 3-0
| Off to a good start, the Warriors will see some tough teams at the Hoosier Cup this weekend.

| Heritage Hills
| 6-1-1
| The Patriots are looking solid including a key PAC win over Gibson Southern. With a win over Pike Central they can clinch a share of the conference title.

| Northeast Dubois
| 5-0-1
| The Jeeps are also on the verge of taking their first conference title. A win over North Knox will crown them Blue Chip kings

| 4-1-3
| The Husikes are off to a quick start including a good performance at the River City Classic. But with tough teams remaining on their schedule will they finish on top of their game.

| Jasper
| 2-1
| The Wildcats rebound from their opening loss to Memorial. Look for a showdown with Washington in mid-September to determine the Big 8 race.
