The Almanac-8 ranks the top eight teams in the Southwestern Indiana area. The poll is released twice a month during the soccer season. This is the final poll as obviously the post-season tournament will determine the true #1 local team. Parentheses () indicates missing records

1
| (1) Memorial
| 7-0-1
| The Tigers have to go across the river to find competition, but keep your eye on back-to-back games against ranked teams Castle and Carmel.
| 2
| (15) Washington
| 8-1-1
| Sweeping through conference play, the Hatchets are looking as solid as they have in years
| 3
| (12) Castle
| 6-1-3
| The Knights tied Washington and have had some tough games in the IN-KY Challenge, but now an SIAC title is on their radar.
| 4
| Jasper
| 5-2
| Jasper does well overall but lacks the edge against ranked opponents. Here comes #15 Washington next week. Prove me wrong, Wildcats.
| t5
| Mater Dei
| 7-2-1
| Both teams are looking equally as impressive so we're gonna call this one a tie. The West Side battle tonight at USI's Strassweg will be the tiebreaker
| t5
| Reitz
| 7-2-2
| 7
| Harrison
| 5-3-2
| Harrison also looked good at last weekend's IN-KY Challenge. The Warriors can still take the city title if they beat Memorial 9/30
| 8
| Northeast Dubois
| 8-1
| Let's not forget about the Jeeps, already Blue Chip champions
|
Also worth noting:
Gibson Southern,
Princeton,
Shoals
