The Almanac-8 ranks the top eight teams in the Southwestern Indiana area. The poll is released twice a month during the soccer season.

| Off to a 3-0 start in conference play, the Tigers look good headed into this weekend's IN-KY Challenge.

| The only blemish on the Hatchets record was a 0-1 defeat to Bloomington South, now ranked #16. The Hoosier Cup this weekend will bring more competition.

| Warriors showed their mettle in beating North. They'll need it when they play some strong Kentucky teams in the IN-KY Challenge

| 2-1-1
| Rebounded from an opening loss to #12 Indianapolis Cathedral. The Knights also play in the IN-KY Challenge this weekend

| Jasper
| 2-1
| The Wildcats took #2 Memorial to the wire in the season opener. Now at 2-1, Jasper looks good heading into the Hoosier Cup this weekend.

| 6-2
| The Huskies get some time off to improve on the loss to Harrison. They'll need it when they face #2 Memorial and #13 Castle next week.

| Forest Park
| 5-1
| The Rangers keep cranking out wins and are on their way to repeating as PAC champs (2-0 in conference).

| The wins may be close and the opponents not top class, but the Chargers are undefeated heading into September in only the program's 5th season.
