Here is a preview of the girls sectionals after a few modifications. Keep checking AlmanacSports for all your post-season coverage.

Sectional 31 - Castle

Jasper replaces Central making this group tough. Home team and #10 Castle won last year as underdogs, but can the Knights run the table when they are favored. They'll face Big 8 champions Washington in the opener. In the bottom half of the bracket North will face the winner of Jasper and Boonville.

Sectional 32 - Reitz

The Evansville sectional stretches to six after picking up Central. Favorites #5 Memorial get a sneak preview this week when the Tigers play Harrison. Reitz should advance to the final, but can the Panthers defeat their rivals for the first time since 2003?

Sectional 46 - Forest Park

Newcomers Christian Academy join this Forest Park sectional. #8 Heritage Hills, the only ranked team, is the favoirte to repeat as sectional champs. North Harrison could likely give the Patriots the best run for their money.

Sectional 47 - Sullivan

Sullivan won this group last year, and though they Golden arrows aren't as strong the home team is still the strongest team in the pool. Washington Catholic and North Knox will get a shot at upending the favorites.

Sectional 48 - North Posey

The top-ranked Mater Dei team open their title defense against Princeton. A likely final against #15 Gibson Southern, whom the Wildcats have never lost to, gets closer each year.
